Tilda Swinton, Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts, Ellen Barkin and Venus Williams were just a few of the stars to show of their vintage Platinum jewellery by Fred Leighton in the last month. They appeared at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art Costume Institute Annual Gala in New York on May 5th. Tyler wore a platinum cuff bracelet from the 1940s with another bracelet from the 1930s.

Jacob & Co confirmed that they were the designers behind the $2.5 million platinum ring that Nick Cannon gave to celebrity girl friend Mariah Carey. The couple are reported to be getting married although Cannon has denied that the 17-carat platinum and pink diamond ring was the same model given to his former fiancée Selita Ebanks.

Cameron Diaz was the latest star to be seen wearing platinum jewellery last month when she was decked out in Neil Lane pieces for the premiere of her new movie, "What Happens in Vegas".
